Natalie Sikes is an award-winning learning consultant on a mission to drive business results and generate buzz for your L&D Department. She has more than 20 years of experience designing and delivering training solutions for corporate, legal, medical, and non-profit organizations. Many of these courses were high-profile, enterprise-wide projects developed for a global audience reaching up to 80,000 learners and translated into multiple languages.

Natalie began her career in human resources management and found herself volunteering for every training project she could find. In 2002, she moved full-time into instructional design and hasn’t looked back. Throughout her career, Natalie has worked both in-house as a senior instructional designer and as an external learning consultant developing hundreds of learning solutions in a variety of formats. She has worked with subject matter experts around the world and has managed teams of instructional designers locally and overseas.

 

Natalie is tech-savvy, using a combination of Articulate 360 and creative software to develop courses designed to improve performance, achieve business goals, and delight the learner. Natalie incorporates a variety of techniques to increase engagement and retention - storytelling, scenario-based learning, simulations, gamification, interactive video, microlearning, and adaptive learning strategies. She stays on the leading edge of technology and learning trends to ensure she can handle any project, including immersive experiences with virtual reality training, 360-degree video, and augmented reality.
